YaFI did not begin as a business idea. It began as a question, why did great cafés always make you choose between traditional or modern, serious or social, cultural or cool?

Coming from a technology background, we were trained to notice inefficiencies, not just in systems, but in experiences. We realized most cafés were built for a certain type of person, not for everyone. So we stepped away from screens and into the world. We traveled, tasted, and listened. From the depth of Ethiopian coffee to the balanced sweetness of Colombian beans. From the warmth of Arabic tea traditions to the calm precision of Japanese matcha, organically grown in the misty hills of Kagoshima. Everywhere we went, we found something remarkable, but never all of it in one place.

That absence became our purpose. YaFI is the result of that journey, a café shaped by intention and guided by curiosity. The name itself carries that spirit. It stands for Your Art, Flavor, and Inspiration — three things that define both how we craft and why we create. “Ya” is the universal call of connection, a friendly nod, a welcoming sound, a way of saying, you belong here. “FI” represents the flavors that spark inspiration — from a single-origin espresso to a small-batch gelato or a perfectly balanced matcha.

Our specialty-grade beans are chosen for character, not hype. Our brewing is refined for clarity and consistency. Our vegan gelato is crafted for flavor and texture without compromise. And our matcha is selected for depth, balance, and purity—so every cup feels calm, focused, and quietly powerful.
